PSV | Dutch Champions ‘24-’25
Photography
The championship celebration of PSV in the 24–25 season was not about spectacle alone. For me, it was about access, instinct, and emotion. Working full-time at the club meant I was there from start to finish, with complete access. That freedom allowed me to focus on moments that usually pass unnoticed. Players in their own environment, the emotional shifts behind the smiles, and the release of an entire season compressed into a single day.
PSV is deeply personal to me. I was born and raised in Eindhoven, in a household where the club was everything. My father dreamed of seeing me play for PSV one day. That did not happen, but working for the club he loves makes him proud, and that carries real weight.
I shot everything intuitively, mostly on a 35mm 1.2 and 85mm 1.4 to keep the images dreamlike and intimate. Throughout the day I edited on the move, delivering images in real time while maintaining consistency and quality. The result was imagery that brought supporters closer to the players, capturing the human side of a moment usually seen only from a distance.
