CDK Company | Bohemian Rhapsody

Director of Photography

Bohemian Rhapsody was conceived as a successor. After the impact of Somebody That I Used To Know, the mindset was clear from the start. Everything needed to level up. Choreography, camera work, styling, lighting, and the precision of every creative choice. The goal was not to repeat success, but to surpass it.

On this project I worked as Director of Photography and operated the technocrane. From the first sketch Sergio shared, it was immediately clear to me that this piece had the potential to become something special. The concept felt bold, confident, and unapologetic. From that moment on, the focus shifted from questioning the idea to executing it at the highest possible level.

Lighting, color, and camera angles were designed to follow the music closely, allowing the structure and emotional shifts of the track to guide every visual decision. There was pressure, but it was the productive kind. The kind that sharpens focus rather than creating doubt.

This project represents visible growth, both creatively and technically. It shows how much stronger the dialogue between music, choreography, and camera has become. For me, Bohemian Rhapsody confirms that progression is not accidental. It is intentional, earned, and deeply collaborative.
